Canyon Lake cleared its first hurdle as the district season opened the curtain last week with Davenport and Fredericksburg both joining The Lake with wins.
Canyon Lake’s battle against JFK Rockets was staged on Equinox Day which is celebrated across the hill country, as The Lake secured their first District 14 victim with a convincing, 68-24 win. Equinox is when the Sunrise was at 7:23am and sunset was 7:23pm settling behind the beautiful hills.

The Hawk Freshman showed that their 2nd quarter would be enough to be successful enough to add a defensive act after a shut-out over JFK Freshman, 22-0.
