Canyon Lake just missed a win opportunity after a Tyler Pauly drive to the basket with time running out. The shot rolled right instead of left leaving the Hawks comeback just short of the mark in a, 73-72 loss to Floresville last Friday night.

Canyon Lake unleashed a flood of points in the 2nd quarter that allowed the spillway to overflow scoring 30 points in coasting for a, 47-24 final. Those 30 points scored in that second period was the most in Hawk history.
