Graduate Missy Romero has Started Year in Grand Fashion

Missy Romero has started her career off in grand fashion as Copiah-Lincoln

Community College sports a 9-0-1 record with two of those victories over the No. 5 team in the country.

Romero has a 2-0 pitching record and has also come through in the batter’s box.

In the game against Heartland (IL), Romero tripled and scored their first run and then homered for her first home run that helped extend the Lady Wolves lead to 7-1 two innings later.

In a game with Baton Rouge, Romero collected her second win of her new career when she finished the Lady Bears by allowing 2 runs, while scattering 8 hits, struck out 1 and walked 2 in 5 innings of work.

Romero’s second win was in relief when she helped put out a fire with 2.2 innings and not giving up a run against that same No. 5 rated squad that she helped beat with her bat in the first game.
