Canyon Lake cleared its first hurdle as the district season opened the curtain last week with Davenport and Fredericksburg both joining The Lake with wins.

This week Somerset will get their first test when they welcome Uvalde while Pleasanton will enjoy an off week.
The Lake has turned on their water faucet during their 4 game winning streak averaging 55.5 points per outing and will meet the Billies with in a contest that will cross one more team with a loss.
FHS (1-4) has played the toughest slate of teams thus far and should not be a team to take lightly based on their present record.
Davenport continues their dominance this season and Somerset has yet to lose a game giving a good idea of those land mines still in a battle field of this season.
This opportunistic Hawk team has forced 18 turnovers which has given this team an advantage during this 4 game stretch and if those type of results continue it will prove a good indication for a successful season.
Canyon Lake has been filling their stands at home and on those away contests thus far so getting to Fredericksburg early while supporting a Hawk team that looks to continue their uptick for clearing another hurdle while staying away from those land mines.
