Canyon Lake’s Volleyball team were good enough to pull off their 2nd District 27-4A win against Bandera as this year’s campaign heads down that final stretch to seeing which 4 teams will qualify for post-season.

Canyon Lake’s big win last week will go a long way as the District 13-4A half-way mark commences this week and the standings show couplings with teams that have a chance to get an inside track for a good seeding or on a track that might be a train barreling down on two of these schools.

Canyon Lake scored for the first time in their opening period and continued to pressure a previous undefeated Davenport team with a Hawk win and tied atop District 13-4A with Lampasas, 2-0.

Canyon Lake’s Green Freshman team started on the wrong foot when Davenport took the opening drive and waltzed down the field covering 62 yards using 8 plays and a quick, 8-0 advantage.
