=============================================
The Hawks had every sport in action last week as the Boys Golf team won their first tournament and will be in action again this week in Seguin with a chance for another win.
Canyon Lake’s win was big in another way as the tournament had several District 26-4A teams competing.
Soccer started their second of three rounds of district play and hopefully can turn around some of those heartbreaking losses into wins.
It will only take one team to beat for a chance to make the playoffs. Both the girls and boys teams will be at home as the Boys will be at home on Tuesday against Bandera while the girls will be at home on Friday playing Fredericksburg.
Track season started last week and the Hawks had some good events and also had a chance to compete against many larger schools more athletes, making scoring points hard to come by.
This week, Track will be in Navarro while having a chance of competing with some schools that are in the same size category.
Baseball will be starting their regular season on Monday, but at last glance the weather might be too cold, but as of this writing the game is still on. (The ReSporter will post on this article above if that game will be cancelled)
Later in the week, CL will be in the Marble Falls Tournament and hopefully the weather will be warmer.
Softball started strong last week as they finished 4th in a field of over 20 teams in the Navarro Tournament.
The Softball team will face Fredericksburg on Tuesday before going to Wimberley’s tournament.
On Friday, some of the morning Wimberley Tournament games will be hosted by Canyon Lake, so your Hawks will have two games at home on that day.
A busy week of Hawk action and lots of chances to catch some action.
Go Hawks!!!
